Since the day that "Fiddler on the Roof" graced the movie screens men have been made aware of the dangers of bad traditions in religious practices.  Years before Christ came to earth the Jewish priests wrote their Talmud (containing thousands of traditions) to explain to God's people how to keep His commandments.  Eventually these man-made traditions impeded people from hearing Jesus and accepting Him as the Messiah.  When Jesus was asked why His disciples did not keep these traditions, He responded by asking, "Why do you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?" (Matthew 15:1-3)

This treatise was written to help us see how far we have wandered from Scripture to keep the traditions of men.  It may surprise many to see what is not in the Bible.  There are 59 traditions that are explored and a few of them are listed below.
